We have over 20—for excellence in our practices across
the board. In 1996 Brothers Strong won the Lone Star Award for
Best Kitchen Under $40,000, and a year later, Lone Stars for
Best Deck and Best Marketing Program. In 1997 we also were recognized
as Southeast Texas Remodeler of the Year. Other notable awards
Brothers Strong has earned include Best Whole House Renovation--$50,000-$100,000
(1998), Best Kitchen Over $40,000 (1999), and Best Home Office
(1999 and 2001). That’s not all. We brought home Prism
Awards as Houston Remodeler of the Year in 1999 and 2003, and
received the prestigious Chrysalis Award in 2001 as the Texas
Remodeler of the Year. |

We do, as a business partner with Northwest Assistance Ministries
and have donated hundred of hours in service to Alzheimer’s
House in Bellaire and Bo’s Place Grief Center for Children.

As a matter of fact, Don has. As part of the National Association
of the Remodeling Industry’s delegation to Washington,
D.C., Don gave testimony before The House Ways and Means Subcommittee
on issues affecting small business owners. |

Michael is a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association
Board of Directors and the NAHB Board of Governors. Both Don
